SharePoint Developer

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled SharePoint Developer to design, develop, and maintain SharePoint-based solutions that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SharePoint development principles and experience working with SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online environments. This role requires the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement SharePoint solutions to meet business requirements using SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online platforms.
• Customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and web parts using out-of-the-box functionality and SharePoint Designer.
• Develop custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages.
• Integrate SharePoint with other systems and applications using web services, APIs, and middleware.
• Configure SharePoint search and metadata services to improve content discoverability and organization.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as needed to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and deployment procedures.
• Stay current on SharePoint platform updates, features, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 10+ years of experience in SharePoint development or related roles.
• Proficiency in SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online platforms.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and capabilities.
• Experience with SharePoint customization using SharePoint Designer, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for developing custom solutions.
• Experience with SharePoint integration with other systems and applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer certification is a plus.
• Experience with SharePoint migration projects.
• Familiarity with SharePoint administration and governance best practices.
• Knowledge of SharePoint hybrid environments and Office 365 integration.
