Cloud Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. This role requires the ability to design scalable and reliable cloud architectures, implement automation solutions, and ensure the security and performance of cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to design scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
• Implement automation solutions to streamline cloud deployment and management processes.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the stability and availability of cloud services.
• Stay current on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and enhancements.
• Document technical specifications, system architecture, and deployment processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of big data technologies and analytics platforms (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Spark, Elasticsearch).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies.
