ServiceNow Developer

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow development principles and experience working with various ServiceNow modules. This role requires the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Customize ServiceNow applications and modules using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages.
• Configure workflows, forms, and user interfaces to streamline processes and improve user experience.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using web services, APIs, and middleware.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as needed to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and deployment procedures.
• Stay current on ServiceNow platform updates, features, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development or related roles.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and components.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
• Knowledge of web services, APIs, and integration technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is a plus.
• Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
